Here is a journey into something a little personal, recently becoming diagnosed with ADHD, things I did in my life made a lot of sense to me. Whether that’s through challenges I have faced with difficulty paying attention, impulsiveness and restlessness, in daily life or with education.

But becoming obsessed with feelings and anything sensory from a young age became very apparent to me. Eating food like a normal person wasn’t something I did. Subsequently, using a knife and fork to eat any food with a certain texture, which left stickiness, or specific smells that would be left behind.

This series displays the feelings and emotions of how it feels for me to eat anything messy. Shot with all sorts of different individuals, to allow them to feel how I feel. It was an enjoyable experience to see some of them hate it, or some of them lose themselves in the food. It was a captivating experience to challenge the norms of eating food, all while allowing me to understand the concept of my own ADHD.
